An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

I will keep it short and to the point as it wasnt a fancy hunt. My boss reported a sighting of two black pigs on the edge of a paddock. I was working near the area the next day so I slung my bow onto my back just in case. Around 3pm I was about to leave when I seen those pigs, Not the two that the boss had seen. I grabbed my bow and run flat stick after them. I Stalked on my belly or "skull dragging" into 15 yards in the paddock no ethical shot was presented. They slowly moved off. It looked like they would pass by some cover which was way better then skull dragging through a open paddock with no cover. I managed to get to the bush before they did, Sweating by now when your hunting in gumboots and overalls. Black pig walked by at 16 yards.... Arrow found the mark. Both pigs black and ginger run into the "thick stuff". Boss turned up not very happy until I told him what I was doing. I marked the blood trail and had to get cows in for milking, When I got back up there I was skull dragging through the thick stuff following blood. Heard a grunt so backed out grabbed my bow went in a different direction found the ginger pig. Two hours later I managed to move three yards to a decent spot to shoot. The ginger pig was 4 to 15 yards away the entire time just could not get a shot. Another half hour later I got a shot at around 2,3 yards away. I was late for tea which the Girlfriend wasnt too impressed by until she seen the photo and the meat in "her" freezer lol.
