Anointed Archer

Shot this ole boy pretty much in my back yard, he was scent checking his scrapes walked directly under me and never even knew I was there.

He turned to look at some squirels behind him and thats when I let the air out of him. The big guy still managed to run close to 70 yards and pilled up knee deep in the water on the edge of a cattail swamp.

Of course I would of never found him without my professional trackers   :D

I was using my 45lb 1966 Bear Kodiak, shooting Easton 2016's tipped with some single beveled 190 grain Tusker broad heads.

The shot took out both lungs, severed the heart clean from the arteries and cut the front leg bone in half just below the shoulder on the opposite side.

Yepper God is good all the time!  :)

For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

Nice deer and 70 yards with that much damage jusat shows how tough they are. Good pair of trackers but how did they do as draggers, thats when they will be worth their weight in gold.
