Mid October of this year, this doe came in at about 6-8 yards. I used an osage selfbow, with a bamboo arrow tipped with a Reed Springs stone point, all of my own making. At what first looked like very little penetration, turned out to be better than I thought, with an exit hole low on the opposite side. The arrow and point both survived in perfect condition. I re-halfted the point after a little touch up, and hope to use it on another before the season ends.

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.
