I went to the lease for a few days to try to find a buck. Well, I did not get the buck but did accomplish something I had not done in all my previous years of hunting. I was sitting in a tree stand Sunday morning when I caught movement below me. Holy smokes! it was a bobcat walking right towards the tree I was sitting in. I got my Sarrels Blueridge longbow off the bow holder and just as the cat stopped at about 9yds, drew back and let the arrow fly. It was a perfect shot on the tom and he only made it about ten feet from where I shot him till he expired. I was pumped, to say the least.

Here's the pics:

What a trophy for you.  Those kitties sure are sneaky in the woods and difficult to get a shot with a bow.  Congrats on the bobcat, rare indeed taking one with a longbow.  That must have been quite a rush!
