PICKNGRIN

I got out Halloween afternoon and got this buck for my treat!  I got to watch him make 3 scrapes and do some tree rubbing.  I grunted at him and got his attention.  He came my way but stood facing my direction for what seemed like a very long time.  He had his eye on a couple does behind my tree.  After what seemed like an eternity, he finally turned broadside.  The white fletching reminded me of a ping pong ball against his hide as the arrow hit tight behind the shoulder!  He was off like a rocket, but I heard him crash a few seconds later!  I was pretty tickled to get him!  He weighed 175lbs. field dressed.  I used my River Runner recurve made for me by Chad Holm, 2016 arrow with 175 grain Zwickey broadhead.

Just a note on the Winona Camo I have on in the pictures.  My son is going on 27 and I got that set of camo before he was born!  My wife has done several repairs on it over the years.  It is my favorite camo, very quiet.  The only drawback is has is picking up the small burs.  So while I am waiting for deer in my stand, it gives me something to do taking off the burs!  LOL.  Thanks for all the comments.
