Oct. 22,2010 at 8:00 am. Took this 8 point at 17 yards with my  47# BW PSAX. Shot him through the lungs and down through the heart with a complete pass through. He ran about 30 yards and expired within 15 seconds. I was using a wood arrow with  3 blade websel woosman weighing in at 525 grain.

I've heard it said that Christianity is a crutch.  To me, it's a walking stick to use on the path of life.

Good Job!  Where are you from?  I'm down here in the bowhunting only counties and the deer just aren't moving at all.  There are so many acorns I think they could just bed down under an oak tree and look up with their mouths open!  Things are getting ready to happen though!

TLANE, I'm from mason county. The bucks are moving pretty good right now, lots of rubs and starting to open up some scrapes. I saw a 6 point and a nicer buck pushing pope and young Monday morning. Two friends kiled a 9 and an 8 point Monday also. You should start seeing activity any time.

I love Mason Co.!  I took my oldest son to McClintic a couple years ago on the youth hunt.  Kinda thick but I love the way the land lays!
If they are starting there it won't be much longer here!

hitman

They are already starting in McClintoc. My buddy kiled an 8 point Tuesday, that may make P&Y. He jumped another bigger buck. Tere is some great bucks there with the 14 in. limit.
