Is this what is meant by hybrid bow??

Seriously, I believe I have some scraping to do.  Here is the same bow unstrung:

Looks like that lower limb is way too weak, but I'd wait to see what the glass bow guys say.

Looks like the lower limb is way too short? Hmmmmm.....
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Looks to me like the handle slid down about 3 inches during glue up but that should make the bottem limb way stiffer not weaker.

A shavin' sharp 2 blade right in the boiler room and you'll be OK.

elkslayer

Looks like the riser is way way to low.

The picture, I believe, is deceptive.  I'll double check tonight, but I'm pretty sure the riser is in the middle, I don't know why it is weird looking in the picture!  By the way, it is Osage belly and bamboo backing, no fiberglas in this one.  I'm trying to make it 20# for my wife.

Could it be the tapered lam on the bottom was put in backwards?
(Not that I would know about that or anything).

I had a bow (my first BBO) that did the same thing. If you place pressure on the top limb, will the bottom snap to its unbraced position as the top limb is now? That's what mine did. Have you tried shortening the string? That would be my first suggestion. A higher brace should pull both limbs into position and then you can see your tiller. Mine is now a 26 pounder that shoots quite nicely.

Update:  The riser is in the center, picture is weird!  I scraped the stroner limb some and it straigtened out.  I did exercise it a lot between scraping and checking.  Only thing is it came out to 15# and I was looking for 20#.  By the way, the osage was one piece and tapered from the middle to the ends.  Thanks for all the help.  I guess I'll just shorten it a little and see if I can get it to 20#.

Looks like you have plenty of length, you should be able to get 5 more pounds easily. How much did you taper the osage?

It is 1/4" in the center and 1/8" at the ends.  I tapered it on a jointer.
