It was the second to the last day of archery season and I was lucky to get a shot at a cow. I was shooting a 70# Cascade Night hawk mag with laminated birch arrows and a Zwickey Delta head.

Great Job!!!  They are such awesome animals.  I had hunting partner issues so my luck was "changed for me", so to speak.  Im looking forward to the late season deer hunt.  Are you chasing muleys in the snow?

I will be chasing any thing I can in the snow, we dont have a lot of mulies up here though. I love mule deer hunting and need to find a good spot to chase them. Good luck Greenhed this late season.

Thats a ton of meat! I would love to hunt elk someday. They are awesome animals and taste good too.

Congrats on the cow.  Beautiful country up there.  How are your populations doing with the wolves?  I will be driving through your neck of the woods in a few weeks for the last week and a half of the MT season.
