I am making a set of three knives for a fine fellow who is giving them to his three sons for Xmas.
I had to get some photos done of the first two so as to get ahead of the game a bit as the third one is not yet complete.
I'll get that one up here later this week.
All three knives we forged from a billet I made of 324 layer single twist Damascus.
He wanted them all to be a little different so one is Brazilian Cherry, another is stabilized Minnesota Black Ash Burl and the third is stabilized California walnut.
Here are the first two:

When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

Those are great looking knives! Someone is sure going to have a great Christmas, can't wait to see the last one.
