Have you ever had an idea bug you till you just have to do something about it. That's what this is. I wanted to see if a band could be shaped around the profile and still be comfortable enough to use.

The blade on this bowie is 10 inches and the OAL is 15 on the dot.

The handle is attached by three rivets, two up from (3/16 round in countersunk holes), and one in the back that is rectangular and in true tenon form with a head formed out board.  I used ample thickness in the band to insure it wont flex or feel mushy. This thing is solid. Not pretty but solid.

You never cease to amaze me...you're like the da Vinci of steel, Lin!  Do you plan to add scales or leave it skeletal?  Either way, SUPER cool!

The skill you have just boggles my mind. Very cool, unique knife.

Thanks guys. No scales. I thought about wrapping it but decided to leave it.

I bet if you watched closely enough, you could actually see pure awesomeness flowing from your hand, through the hammer, and int the blade when you're forging.  Unbelievable.
