Ya, what a deer!  Thanks so much for the great story.  My heart starts beating hard just thinking about seeing a deer like that...  wow!

That is a rare eight pointer indeed! All respect and honor to a deer that put his all into only eight points.  A 170" eight pointer is got to be almost as rare as a big non typical. They just don't come along very often. Congrats on a great eight pointer, Barry.

Congrats Barry, to one of the true "good guys' of our sport. I just returned from a week away chasing whitetails elsewhere, only to find this. I have some catching up to do! Great story, as always.
