Killdeer

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

If that wasn't the hunt of a lifetime, I don't know what one is.  The mountains you climbed, the animals you hunted, all the adventures along the way, and most especially the way you went about it -- you did it and you did it right.    :thumbsup:

So what's your next adventure?  Dollars to donuts you're thinking about something...

Woww is right!  What a hunt!  And one of the best told stories about it I've ever read.  That is probably as close as I will ever get to hunting goats - thanks for bringing me along!
Congratulations on a fine accomplishment!
