Here goes, I knew this buck was out there but didnt know it was him when I shot, I thought he was a nine point. I hit him back and knew I had to leave him all night. Supposed to gain an hour of sleep, I lost six! A.M. started searching w/bro in law, and my whole wondreful family. I knew he would die but needed time. We found blood and ended up finding him. Alot of emotions just came at once, the miss, the target panic, the hours, the work, my new bow line, so many things. I want to thank God for enabling me and for creating the fine animal we so passionately pursue. My wife and kids for sacrificing time, while at the same time creating priceless memories with me. And all of you, I truly love "hanging with the gang".Thanks for sharing.

Long as I can pull this bow
Long as I can hike the hills and walk among the trees
I keep on trying
My goals are high but I don't care
The fun is in the getting there, it justifies the end
So try, try again

Nice bruiser! Think your bow is broken in yet? Nice to see the whole family involved.
