I put Gannon in the South Ridge stand early Thanksgiving morning while I hunted another stand a half mile away hoping for a shot at a doe. About 10:00 I start walking toward's my son's stand and I here him yelling "Dad Dad". When I get to him he tells me he shot a deer and he reenacts the whole scene. I find blood immediatly and start following it.  After about fifty yards of this he starts laughing and tells me " I've already found him, he's right up here."  After some serious hugging and laughing I took this picture.

Bears can attack people- although fewer people have been killed by bears than in all WWI and WWII combined.
