Thanks Guys.
The bow is a 53# @ 25" Striker Select by Mr. Rick Ellis from Ohio he's a sponsor on here.

What's the high fence in the background?  Is that somebody's garden the buck's scouting out?    :)

Congrats!  Patience pays off!

My father-in-law told a similar story recently about some does bedding close to him.  They got up and moved 2-3 times - about 10-15 yards from where they were - and bedded down again.

Great work!

I know waiting can frazzle your nerves.  I laid down on the side of a butte for 45 minutes waiting for a buck to go to sleep, move or something other than stare in my direction.  Finally, he stood up and bedded down head away from me (still took him 20 minutes to do that).  I could then make a stalk.

Thats a great story and a nice buck.  I could relate...I've had two big boys bedded with a doe (over the last 3 years) for over 1.5 hours each time at under 30 yards.  Two weeks ago it happened and I had to stay standing the whole time and when they finaly got up to move they went away. The first time, 3 years ago, turned out like your hunt.   :archer:

Congrats!!!

Thanks Guys!
Limbow I was shooting CX 150's with a 100 grain insert and a 125 grain Magnus Stinger 4 blade.  Gives me a total arrow weight of 560 grains out of a 53# at 25 " bow (Striker by Rick Ellis).  Arrow did not pass through because I caught the far side leg bone, ended up taking one lung totally out centered the heart and caught the far side lung low.
