Terry I have never seen that soft spot before.

That shield sure looks tough and hard, good thing you went to the heavy Bow-n-arrow, I don't think light tackle would of gotten in side of his armor, just would of ran off with the arrow stick-en out of him.

By the way did you see any sparks when your broadhead made contact with that armor platting. LOL

Dave...that soft spot is right over and behind the elbow on a heavy shielded boar.

I didn't see any sparks...but I wish you all could really see and the tusk gouges in that shield.  I don't know how many jabs he took, but that's evidently what the shield is there for.

The depth of the shield where I hit him was almost 2 inches thick.

There were fresh wounds that were still bloody, and some were a few years old...and a few of them were DEEP. Some actually looked like Bhead hits that were laughed off!!!!
