Thanks for another great story Charlie!  I know how much time and effort you put into the telling of these tales of adventure, and I sure do appreciate it

You sure are an entertaining story teller.  I like those pictures too.  Do you use a portable mini-tripod?  It's a neat way to illustrate your story.  I was thinking of your pictures as I was hunting the National Forest this weekend and was trying to think of what shots you would take.  Thanks for the read.

Charlie Lamb

Chuck... Thanks! For the self taken shots (about all I do) I've been using a little tripod called "The Ultrapod". Very handy. It weighs about 4-6oz. and set up as a tripod for level surfaces and by collapsing the legs (fold out type)and using the attached velcro strap it can be placed on tree trunks, fence posts, etc.

I'm sure it will be easy enough to find a source with an online search.

Taking pictures to support a story requires time set aside to just take photos. No way around it. If you just wait for the right time you end up going home with few pics.
Better to spend a few extra minutes taking different shots and having a selection of photos to chose from.  :wavey:

Charlie:

I gotta figure out a way to get your old butt over here to Southern Illinois for a hunt.

The woods are better when there are "Ole Farts" in them.

Great story.......

I get it.....and there ain't a feller one who'd pick the Col. after settin down to Keith's table. If he grew him a fancy goatee and had a spiffy name, he could retire  :readit:
