Good going, brother!  I went with carbon arrows this fall and got my first kill by taking a doe with one on Saturday morning.  No shame in modifying your game to the standards of your quarry.  Congrats!

Thanks for the comments fellas. Thanks for the patience as well. This buck would generally not be a shooter under our managment program but Debbie and I were on unmanaged property for this hunt and therefor he was a shooter. We heard over 20 gun shots over the weekend so the buck was destined to die anyway. Im very proud to have shot him with the longbow even though he is a little small.

Harl, I shot a pig Tuesday and Thursday mornings with those arrows you sent me also. No-one at home to take pics in the mornings. One 40-50# and the other hog was huge @25#..... Tender. CK

Don,t know how you southern guys deal with the heat,guess ya just get used to it after awhile.Im wishin it would cool down some to maybe 25 or 30     for day time highs.
