Curt,

I can't wait to hear the stories and see the photos.  I think any body that goes to Montana and spends sometime there will fall in love with the place.  The land is beautiful and the people are great.  I spent a bunch of time work in the Columbia Fall and White Fish area.  Now I keep saying that when I move back to the US this is where I will live.

For hunting to have a future, we must invest ourselves in future hunters.

Have always wanted to go to Montana!  Afraid I would never leave, though!  Trying to talk my wife into looking into teaching jobs there.  She's an elememtary special ed teacher with 24 years experience.  I'm gonna keep working on it!

Sorry again for all this time without anything, but things have been crazy since I got home.I'll be forced to keep this short and but pretty sweet with pix...

The original plan was to hunt antelope around Billings, then go to elk camp. But it was decided that we would go right into the mountains,as things looked real promising.

We got to the trailhead and packed for the ride(Tina and Tracy)/walk(Pete and I) 6 1/2 miles...

Within 20 min. it started to rain and sleet.Cold was an understatement!  Then it cleared up,but the damage was done....we were all soaked to the bone!!

I was ok,because I was walking, but the riders needed some change of cloths.  First stop to check the view......

Bear protection!!!

Not quite clear yet(some smoke too)...

I'll try to add throughout the day.....By the way, there was some blood spilled by "Painless"
