Knowing you I know there is a great story to come, looking forward to it!
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

the Ferret

Been waiting for this. I love Montana too!

Yes, I think a bunch of us should all just show up at Mark Baker's or Doug Campbell's place sometime and go huntin'.

My son and I just got back from hunting with Mark Baker in Montana.  Now I am thinking of trading my place in Alaska for something in MT.  Beautiful, awesome country and great, great people there.  Now if I could just find a job there, with insurance...

soopernate

I love Montana and even though I could make a lot more teaching in other states (Wyoming for instance) I will NEVER leave.  Too beautiful here.....
I humbly follow in the learned footsteps of those who precede me.

Kevin the "Montana Beauty Tax" can be stiff, I took a 60% cut in pay when I moved here in 1990.  However, after adjusting to lack of disposable income, it is definitely worth it.
Curt, that view looks familiar, I believe you can see that ridge from my bonus room.   :D

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
