Oh Man, I went duck huntin today and WOW!!! I hit on a spot that is torn up. A bunch of big rubs and such, so you know me. There is now a stand set up in there. Best of all any hander can shoot out of it and ya can get to it from my Dads in about 5 minutes and that is if ya had to walk. My brother was impressed at the sign as well. By the way, I did get a woodie!!(LOL!!) Shawn

Looks like the weather might break (fingers crossed)...Sat morning might be a bit damp, but they are talking about this low moving out Friday-ish...I hope so...I CAN'T WAIT TILL SAT!!!!

Yeah, I got me a camera and yes I hope the weather breaks soon!! It is pouriong again, my stands near the creeks will not be of any use as we won't be able to get to them. Shawn

Yea,pouring here too,haven't seen the sun in a few days now.Creeks are all over there banks.But we might get lucky...weather.com (for around here) is saying showers in the morning(Sat.),then maybe a little sun.Sun,chance of showers ,but real windy!!

Yeah man, if the sun comes out Saturday afternoon we should be into a lot of deer. I know they lay up in the rain and once it stops they get out and feed heavy and man do I have spots for those conditions!!! Tom, me and Curt won't melt we may just shrivel up a little. Thanks Bill!!! Shawn

Wish you the best of luck this weekend guys. We don't know what rain is this year in Iowa. Don't even need the bow to Deer hunt. You just holler at them and when they start to run, they break there legs by falling into the cracks. Yep thats how dry its been (well purt-a-near).

Court until trhe last week that is how it has been here. Water table was down 15"s or so, now we are making up for it!! Shawn
