Stikbow, This is gotta be one of the best hunting stories I have ever read.

Thanks to all of you for your kind words.  I am sorry it has taken so long for me to reply but I work 3 different jobs, firefighter, as an EMT on the side, and I am in the National Guard also.  I don't have a computer at home so the only time I can visit the site is at the fire hall on my days on duty.  I also have 2 beautiful daughters that take up just a little of my time also. LOL  I should have the pics with the next few days and I promise I will post them as soon as I can.

I don't know if you guys can tell how special this hunt was to me or not but I wanted to share it with all of you because all of you contributed to this deer in one form or fashion.  It was through your knowledge and skill that all of you so freely share, not only with me, but with every other "rookie" that has visited this site that you guys helped me harvest that deer.

Mr. Lamb--  that compliment coming from the "Master Storyteller" means alot to this TN boy and I thank you sir for the compliment.

VanTX-  I would love to publish this story, to share what traditional archery has come to mean to me, to share my experiences with the great folks that make up this wonderful lifestyle, and to tell the story of my uncle's bow.  Only problem is that I don't have a clue where to begin!! LOL   :help:    :help:

Again, I am glad that all of you enjoyed my story and I will get the pics up soon.
