Just got my new POV Camera today. Its a Contour HD. Films in full HD to a micro SD card. I will be wearing this on a head strap off a pair of motorbike googles. Weighs in at 123g so nice and light. Has a host of manual and auto setting for resolution, frames per second and lighting. A couple lasers on front help to make sure it is filming where you are looking.

So far the quality looks real good.

Wow that has great picture quality as you are moving. Focus did not seem to be a big issue if you keep the viewing distance the same. That would be fun if you were doing a spot and stock. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah I'm very impressed with the camera so far. All my hunting is spot and stalk so I look forward to getting some good footage.

How much time do you get on on a card- what size cards can you get for it?

Ray, it came with a 2gb card which will give you about 30min of footage. I have a 16gb card for mine but it can take up to a 32gb card.

Does this camera come with a head mount strap or chest mount strap??? Great video man

Thanks mate. It comes with the attachment to go onto a headstrap but not the actual strap. I've found just about any cheap headlamp strap works or a ski/motorbike goggle strap.

Would it be too heavy to mount directly onto your riser or would it just be in the way? Wonder how it would handle the shock as the arrow was leaving. Wonder if the video quality would be good enough to watch the arrow in flight?

You could certainly mount it to the riser but I have seen footage done this way and the video jumps all over the place at the release.

I am going to try a 2.5X zoom lense on it soon which should enable it to show the arrow impact at closer ranges.

How does it do with low light like at dawn or dusk?

I havent done any real low light yet. I did some probably 30min after first light and it was pretty good.

It looks like a very nice camera. I am in the market for a better one now. I have a Stealth Epic camera that I have mounted on my bow but can attach to different places also. When its gets to be low light she is pretty much done, all the videos are to dark to see. I don't wanna have to drop alot for a nicer camera for just playing around but I might have to if I want to record later in the evenings on hunts.

That looks like some good video...Im thinking of getting a cam to do some self filming on hunts this fall...how much was this cam and how does it compare to the GoPro HD Hero cam? Thanks for any info.

You can pick them up for around $200. Its Cheaper then the Go Pro, more compact, but weighs just a little more. I have not owned the Go Pro but seen plenty of footage from both and they seem about equal.
