Thought some might like to see these examples of darkened osage. Photos are of a Grumley bow I made in the mid-90's. Note how the osage has become as or even darker than the walnut tip overlays in the bottom photo. The top photo limbtip was away from the light more than the other. 15 years of aging.

Wow, that has darkened allright. Here is a pic of my PSAX widow. I'd say it's heading the same way too...

Al, tan lines look great! It doesn't take much light to age them. You had a HH Redman too, no? I bought one and I think it is now my favorite bow.
