My father, a long time longbow hunter, took this buck this morning.  20 Feet away on the ground.  This monster weighted in at 209 lbs and is about 2 1/2 years old.  Unbelievable!  I seen this buck yesterday morning with his twin brother who is also a big bodied eight point but couldn't get him in for a shot. dino

Lastly, my son Josiah.  He loves deer hanging in the barn and just had to have his picture taken with this one.

Dino, congrats to your father on a really nice buck. I hope to be hunting at home in IN this weekend. Where are you located in IN? I am in west central IN.....West Terre Haute to be exact! Good luck on the twin! Mike

This one was taken in Steuben county NE of Fox Lake just outside of Angola.  Areas around Angola produce some large deer and they are plentiful.  Yesterday I seen 8 deer in an hour and a half.  Good luck out there this weekend Mike. dino

Congrats to your father and I love to see the kids involved. They learn that meat just doesn't come in shrink-wrapped packages
