AHHHHHHHHHHH gut... you are the man. Guys 1gutpile is saving me right now... This gentleman is a perfect example of archers helping archers. I am currently in a financial bind but gut i will make it up to you. thanks so much once again....

I guess some people need limitations. I built arrows, and recently the knife trade, and leather products, but this one guys....it has got me tossin and turnin.

Mmm....my guess would be that you did not leave enough moisture in the skin when you glued it down.  On a skin that thick I actually like to sand the skin down before applying and then lay the skin down while it's fairly moist.  Did you put glue on both the skin and the limb?  I always do.  If it was me I'd call it a do-over but you may be able to salvage it.

Good luck.

Ohh if you can get you hand on some smaller skins you'll be better off in the long run.

I actually at first thought i had too much moisture on the skins. i only put glue on the limbs. I think Gut will save me one this. Guys i swear i am usually not incompetant, i liek to think of myself as pretty handy ..but this has really shocked my confidence.

Ha, you shouldn't let that shock your confidence.  Glue on the skin as well probably would have helped considerably.

Bump in the road man, bump in the road.  You just got to move on and do it again.  Trust me, I know.
