Since moving to TN, I'd talked to Brett a few times by phone regarding his health scare of a few years back...he had a tumor on his brain near his eye that miraculously, went away... all seemed well.

I got a call this AM from his young wife...they're in Orlando, and he got the "flu" and she got him to the hospital.  Details are sketchy at this moment, but the PA surgeons felt there was some residual brain swelling and the "flu" kicked it off and there is a strong possibility he will have permanent brain damage.

I beseech the prayer warriors here to keep Brett, his wife and 2 young children in prayer that is NOT the case... Bretts wife has a great job with the state so living in the boonies of PA, he took the role of Mr. MOM and did a great job....

If those in PA had not been to Standing Stone club for their Father's Day Trad shoot, you missed a good one.  The future now of that function is unknown.

Prayers that they get Brett home this weekend and that his condition improves!

Amen Doc. May God rage against the attack of the enemy.
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

I put him on our Church's prayer list and let as many folks I know knew him know of his ailment.

Praying God has ONE MORE miracle saved up for Brett... that is one close knitt family, but those kiddos NEED their Daddy!

I've not heard if they got him home to PA or not... wish I had his folks # to call.  I could call the house, but I'm sure his wife burned a lot of cell minutes they didn't have reaching people.

Prayers continue... IF any of your PA folks learn anything, post it please!
