There's a thread on PW started by Terry Green, but suffice it to say our own Izzy's life ended, along with family members...

He was part of the thin blue line...

Prayers for peace for his family, resolution to the mystery and hope for the future.

Lord in your mercy....

I talked to Izzy quite a bit, but never got to meet him. This is bad.

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

I do not know the man , family or story, but I will pray still.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

while initially this was a great shock and very saddening....as events unwind I say special prayer for the surviving son that now must carry this burden throughout his life.  I hope his friends and family embrace him in love and kindness.  I can only hope his mother and brother felt no pain and went quickly.

I am in for whatever is needed to help this surviving son...

There is a special place in hell for a father and husband that would do this to their loved ones!

God Bless You, Noah!!!

Can't wrap my head around why someone would not only take there own life but , a wife and young sons life as well.

Prayers have been lifted for the surviving family members and will continue to pray for Noah. This young man will need prayers, love and support from as many as will provide it. This event is as unfathomable as one could imagine. God bless you Noah all of your days.

While I grieve for Noah and pray for his life to become normal in some way. I also pray for the Lord's mercy for Izzy. It never makes sense when someone takes his family's life but our God is a loving and forgiving God. If someone is so despondent to take their life, why do they have to take loved ones with them, just cannot wrap my head around that.

I have been puzzling and crying, trying to make sense out of what will never make sense. Something broke in Izzy's brain, and so there can be no logic and no reason. This threw me for a real loop. As sad as it makes me, I cannot imagine the hurt that Noah must be going through. A waking nightmare.

I am praying for God to heal the soul of Noah's father, and to give strength to those he left behind. God is loving and merciful, and I am sure that He is cradling this family in His generous hands, especially the innocents who came to Him too soon.

This is a bitter cup.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Indeed, Kathy... exactly my sentiments,... can't analyze such behavior with a rational mind...in hindsight

Where Izzy's mind was shall go with him to the Beyond... none of us will know for sure.  All we know is that Noah's left behind to make sense of it...

Prayers for strength for Noah and God's grace on all!
