Didn't even know that Dean had a website...surely hate to read this...

used to stand by his booth at Denton and he'd try to smarten me up,  and enjoyed his tutelage and direction...bought his wares, but he quit coming to Denton as did many good vendors.

Thank you all for your expressions of support. I'm entering my 4th week of chemo and radiation and also into the walleyes pretty good. Hanging tough.

Hi Dean,

Yesterday my family celebrated the 46th birthday of my Sister-in-Law Joanne, by bowling according to her special rules (including bowling in slow-mo, between your legs, while holding hands with someone).  Jo is an 8 year survivor of Stage IV metastatic breast cancer.

She has lived to see her son graduate not only from 8th grade, but high school, Marine boot camp, and into his Junior year of college.

What seemed like an immediate death sentence has turned into an amazing life after cancer.  She got to take a balloon ride to open the Indiana State Fair on Friday too.

In the words of Jimmy Buffet: "Some of its magic, some its tragic, but I've had a good life along the way."
Take a kid hunting!

You have always been an inspiration Dean. Can't hunt squirrels without thinking about you.
