Today was a representative "Good Friday" weather day...dark, foreboding, spitting rain occasionally...tonite, it's raining and thunder boomers, washing away the world's sin.

Sunday, we who come here, can awake to a Glorious day of triumph after the suffering that most of us, at least me, could never endure or accomplish.

Thank you, Jesus!

The Good News is about to burst forth!

Amen, Doc. Guess who got the lead role in the drama that accompanied our Thursday night "shadows" service? Luckily, shadows were all the congregation could see....Jesus never made it to geezer status during his short time on earth. The irony here is Doc knows I'm in a race to get all my joints replaced.  I asked the director, "do you really want a limping Jesus"?  She replied, "if I'd been scourged, did I think I might limp"?  Moral of story...don't argue with women!
