Rock 'N Bow

I received a call from Fedora's to tell me my bow was finished after waiting a year. As I was talking to Mike he apologized for the long wait and then told me he had lost his son. Through all this he continues to carry on with what he loves to do. I admire his unwavering faith through life's ups and downs. Please pray for him and his family during this difficult time.

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Sad to read this...must mean Jason passed. That has to have been something tragic as jason wasn't that old...and had become the glue that held that whole operation together...

There was an elder son, but he split with the family a long time ago...

Regardless which of the two boys passed, that is a heartache for any parent.

I wish Mike SR and the Mrs well in leaning on their faith as they regroup and move forward, resting in God's Grace and Love.

Like you said Doc,which of the two boys it was, we do not know. The heartache would be felt for either.

Mike and his family are good folks and I pray that God holds them all tight and gets them through this.

Whether estranged or standing next to you, the anquish of the loss of a child would be crippling. The Fedora's are recognized as a family of great faith, I know a Holy Hand will hold them.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Well, now given the post on PW, we know that Jason left the family business and headed to other parts.

I pray that Jason finds meaning and productivity in what he chooses vocationally.

That bald head will shine where ever he goes. Man has lots of talents. Best wishes Jason.
