:notworthy:  An update is on the first post, thanks so much!

Prayers continue for Mom and you.

Glad your "assisted living" is that positive up there or where she is...looked into it here for my Dad after Mom passed in 04' and it was a joke!

No assistance with bathing, dressing or anything else...just check they were still sitting up and "took" their meds...

And for the $$, I wasn't sure where the definition of "assist" came into play!

Glad she made that decision and best of luck to her and your family thru this time of transition!

Mom is going through a rough patch, congestive heart failure......but she pulled thru and is head pack to assisted living today. Those old folks are tough bunch.........

Thank God she is doing well. Prayers continue
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Indeed, tough is an operative word...

Just be prepared...I found when the trial exceeded my dad's desire to keep fighting he just "quit" and it was over in a day!

Not to rain on yer parade, but tough only lasts as long as the will is willing.  God knows when, we don't!

Keep the Son in your eyes regardless!

Mom has had the failure to thrive for some time now, we can just hope and pray for the best.
