I just found out today that my next door neighbor has less than a year to live. Some rare form of lung fibrosis. He has been our neighbor sinse my parents moved to their home in 1982. What a saddening thing; but part of life is death. Enjoy it while you have it. Happy hunting all.

How right you are. I lost my Mom in September of 1994 and my Dad in December of 1995. Both parents gone in 15 months. Life has never been the same, but we all must go on!

You have 12 whole, wonderful months to build memories and testify God's love to your friend and neighbor!

Amidst struggles here, I try to remember that we should live each day as a present...in the present... and not delay till things are "settled in the future".

Most days, that challenge gets beyond my abilities, but your renewed encouragment helps. Thanks for the wake up!

Prayers for peace for all who know and love that special neighbor... Lord in your mercy.
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!
