My church has a wonderful prayer team and i take all these concerns there... but when I'm really scared, I also bring them here.  I've seen such wonderous things happen when this community prays for someone.

My friend Scott wrote that his daughter, Heather, age 19, was hospitalized. They found her dehydrated and thought perhaps a kidney infection. Now she's undergoing extensive testing for possible blood infection. I understand that latter is quite dangerous and we're all scared.

I've watched this kid grow up, albeit from a bit of a distance given their location, but she's quite a fun character and a good kid.

prayers that they can indeed diagnose the cause of her malise and with God's help, treat it successfully and swiftly.  Prayers too for her family in their anxiety of the unknown.

Just got word...they think it is ecoli (?) bacterial infection... buddy had no clue if the salad stuff (spinich?) was a factor or not..she lives part time at her bio mom's as they're divorced and he's remarried.  Heather is a strong kid so I hope that she can pull through.

There is also some kidney involvement now..  :(

Thanks for the prayers!

Prayers for her recovery with no adverse affects. Lord be with Heather and comfort her family.

I'm not a woodworker, I don't know why God chose me to make bows.

This site rocks!!!  Prayers are once again answered.  Last I heard, the li'l gal was responding to treatment and was expected to come home yesterday...weakened, but no permanent damage to her kidneys..and the blood infection from e. coli seemed to have been responding to meds! Fluid was leaving her lungs, too! Yahoo!

Praise the Lord! All Glory to Him that hears our prayers and Heals our hurts!

Romans 8:11 And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you.He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who lives in you.

She's home...trying to recover her strength... it was e.coli..not the spinich strain, but one related and unknown source.

Be careful out there... And Thank You, Jesus!!!!
