This request was posted on our Michigan Bowsite web page.  Like Dennis said I know them only because every trad hunter in Michigan knows thier contributions to man and bowhunting!

I'd guess that just about All of us here know Jim Reynolds. He is a friend to many of us, has a heart as big as all outdoors and a GREAT bowyer.

He probably would NEVER share his thoughts and concerns with a lot of you in a public forum such as this and I hope I'm not betraying his confidence in me as a friend, but he shared something with me tonight over the phone that about broke my heart and I felt overwhelming compelled to come here and ask that you all pray for his wife Diane who has been diagnosed with leukemia and lymphoma cancer.

I ask that all of you would join me in lifting up Jim and Diane in prayer, asking for complete healing for Diane and peace for Jim, Diane and their entire family. And that some how through their faith in Christ they will be able to get through all their trials and tribulations together; and that they may find peace in knowing that no matter what the outcome, they will be content knowing God is in control and HIS will is all that matters, whatever His will may be. Amen

Thank you, Den

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Faith has done wonderous things for many her on this site, through God's love and Grace. May our Lord see fit to hold these people in His arms and help Diane to feel His healing power to rid her of this dreaded cancer. May her faith, like the faith of a child, make her whole in Christ Jesus. And to Him be all the Glory and Honor.

I'm not a woodworker, I don't know why God chose me to make bows.

All mighty Father, creator of the universe, we beseech thee on behalf of Sister Diane, that a whirlwind of healing encompass her being and that your anointed touch permeate her on an atomic and molecular level.  We cast out anything not of you and your life and light and replace it with the wonders of your love. We know that we are by your stripes healed, and that ours is eternal life and we are so grateful. Give this family faith and courage for the coming days, and good fellowship to share their joys and troubles, in Jesus mighty Name we pray. Amen.

In His Love and Service,
peace
