Long time wall hanger.  Old Bear Kodiak with what looks like K4  63# 1260213 on the riser.  Any info on year, specifics or value.  Considering letting here go, yyou are the guys to ask about it.

Looks like a 1953. As for value from the photos it looks a little rough. My quess would be $100-$125

1953 is probably correct.I have a pretty mint condition 1952 it says patent pending on the limb but looks the same.

I have kept Serials for Grizzly,Kodiak,Cub and Polars years 1949 to 1964.Some in person most on fleabay for sale.1953 was the year of the change running bear to standing bear.I believe 1952 were in the 10,001 to 14,000 span. And the largest number seen in a standing bear 1953 was 17,696 so I think that 1953 was 14,001 to 17,696 (loose logic). So I vote that this is 12,602B ,a mid to late 1952.But all kinds of errors are at risk in my thoughts.Others have did this for decades ,I only 3 or 4 years,so please tell me if I am wrong.

1952 had blonde glass both sides, 1953 had reddish glass both sides. Pretty much the same other than glass color.
