I'm looking for a bow I'm not even sure exists. I was at a gun show a few years ago and saw a bow on one of the tables out of reach and a lot of people around it so I figgered I would come back later and check it out...really pretty bow. Well I did come back but it was gone. I talked to the guy and he told me it was a 62" Red Wing Hunter. It had a dark rosewood riser and green glass limbs. I have not seen one like it since but sure would like to. Was such a bow ever made?

I don't know about the green glass, but saw a 62" RWH at a shoot last weekend which was for sale. Glass was brown and a rosewood riser and 40#.  If not for the two filled holes, I would have bought it for the $200 he was asking.

The 58" and 52" are the much more common version, but the 62" sure does exist.

Thanks Lon, sure would like to find one. I have a 52" I need to figger out a string length and brace for but would love to get a green glass one a little longer.

Most of them were 58".  I think some 62" were earlier ones and much harder to find.

Yup, They are hard to find. I think any of the green glass Wings are pretty rare.

I have a RWH ...AMF era ....and it is 62". Nice bow. Basically, the way I look at it is a. Wing Era....then b. Wing/Head Ski Era followed by c. Wing/AMF Era...the original Wing Era bows are supposedly the most desirable and the wood seems better than the later periods but I have bows across the years and they all shoot well. I have seen 62" early RWHs but get the feeling that more 62" units were produced later. They all shoot well.

Thanks guys. I have found a couple 62inchers but one of any length with the green glass really makes it tough.
