I have a pretty old Mamba hi-speed that has a broken upper limb about a foot from the top nock. Is there any hope it could be fixed? The fiberglass is ok, but it looks like the old glue failed and the wooden inner limb cracked. The bow is 62" and it is stamped 34 1 on the riser.

Nice Idea Bjorn..... In the past I have used old arrow shafts to support climbing vine potted plants. I have thought about cutting up old broken bows to remove limb tips and risers to make patio wind toys but haven't gotten around to it yet. Hate to throw them away......

Cut the limbs off, drill a couple holes...

Sure would make a cool handle for a Hunting Cabin door!!!!!  

The bow could be re-limbed/refinished and make a nice shooter but it would kill the collector value.

I glued a bow that was in about that same shape back together with Loctite 420. The owner just wanted it for a one piece wall hanger. That should work for your bow as well. Just remember to give more thought than I did to where that runny stuff will end up. I was happy to get my fingers apart without much fanfare. Actually any epoxy should work and you can get some that stays where you put it. That bow is a piece of archery history that has a lot of merit simply hanging on the wall.

Just to clarify, that is a Howatt bow from when Damon Howatt was still alive, built sometime in the early 50's
