Hi Guys, just cam across a Ben Pearson Lord mercury, new in the box that has never been shot, with a set of 12 swift 1816 aluminum arrows that are brand new in the box. I was wondering what the value is of the bow. I paid 200 for it all.  Before I shoot it, I was thinking its value might be affected.  looks beautiful, I am very tempted to shoot it.  Any Thoughts??

Did you buy it to shoot it or to make money reselling it...collectible prices are pretty much in the toilet right now and there are not a lot of Pearson collectors around

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

That is a very nice shooting target setup at an unbelievable steal price. I would have it at the range tomorrow giving it a go!!!

Great looking bows you won't hurt it by shooting it! Have fun. Values change from month to month but you probably did ok.

As nice as they are, there is just not a lot of demand for Pearson bows. Even when the market was good. Most Pearsons are great shooters and underated and the Lord Mercury was the best of them. Great find, I wouldn't hesitate to shoot the snot out of it
We are all here because we are not all there.

Howard Hill shot a Ben Pearson in the early 70's or at least he said he did in an advertisement.
