I would like to thank Tom Phillips for allowing me to purchase such an item that he brought with him on a visit to Vermont. Enjoyed his company very much, and by the end of the day I couldn't take the pain of trying to help him part with this item. I just drooled over it throughout the day. Never put an item for sale in front of me that belonged to Fred that is for sale. I will find a way, beg, borrow or.... Well I don't go that far.

I have seen a small collection of these 9-10 years ago and do not have a photo.The nicer ones like yours are obviously from the later years but all shows they have booths at had nametags and Fred started saving them later (never seen a Bear Products for example).Most were paper and handwritten names by the badge wearer (fred's writing).Intresting stuff should be in a museum..again.

museums are nice but not everybody is close enough to visit. sometimes I think it is better for us Fred Bear collectors to have items and share over the Internet rather than never getting to see pieces because of distance.

Museums are online.It was a shame to see what BassPro? (or Cabelas?) did by spreading it far and wide where people show the items no attention.Just an opinion.

It was bass pro, and lots of items that were on loan are now missing. Needless to say; I no longer shop there
