I am trying to accumulate serial number for the most popular Shakespeare Bows, The Sierra, The Yukon, and the Necedah. When Shakespeare shut it's door in 1976 the company began to destroy information. It wasn't intentional but over the years all the information about the archery branch of the company, the serial number system and other interesting aspects of production has been lost. I am trying to acquire as many serial numbers as possible in the hope that perhaps a pattern or system emerges. I am limiting my search to the three most popular models,

The Sierra X18, The Yukon X24 and The Necedah X26. this is what I need:

The Sierra X18: serial number, year if known, fiberglass color, draw weight and right or lefty.

The Yukon X24: serial number, year if known, fiberglass color, draw weight and right or lefty.

The Necedah X26: serial number, year if known, AMO (55" or 58"), draw weight and right or lefty. color of fiberglass.

If you have any of these bows please consider helping. Thanks!!!!!

Nothing is more fairly distributed than common sense: no one thinks he needs more of it than he already has.

I recently picked up a Yukon X24 RH, 30#, L81560H, 60" with brown glass. It was very good shape when I got it and have been able to restore it to near mint condition. I don't know the year.
