What can you broadhead guys tell me about these. I've got several on old arrow that I picked up a while back. Appear to be very well made. I'm half tempted to sharpen two or three up and take a deer with one. I think the King of the Forest 4 blade is much harder to come by. Tell me what you can about them. Anyone?, Anyone? CKruse

The Fleetwood Deerslayer head was made somewhere around 1946/47. They came in 125gr. and 200gr. These are one of the more common Fleetwood heads to find. Fleetwood was a Colorado based Company. Thats all I have hope it helps. By all means sharpen one up and kill a deer. Dont forget to post pics.    Mike

The Deer slayer was a 2 blade and the King of the Forest was a 4 blade. Clarance Love built these and was beat on the patent, for the bleeder that was punched out from the ferrule, by only a few days by Zwickey. Neither knew the other was working on the idea. They are common heads and well made. As Mike said...shoot something with them and post the pic-it would be way cool!

If they are the 200gr. 4-blade I could use one for my collection. Let me know if you want to part with one.

Thank you guys. I noted the strong resemblance in construction to the Zwickey. I also had noticed they had been around a long time. I will have to put one or two to work this fall. CKruse

They are all the 2 blade Deerslayer. I'm not sure of the weight. I will check it soon. CKruse

The Zwickey is a three layer consruction and the Fleetwood is only two layers.
