The only I.D. on the bow in right on the front of the bow in the riser cut-out. It says "NSNI"

The handle is glued on with two colored spacers.

The rest is a piece of felt held in place by the handle wrapping.

Aside from the finish being all cracked up, it looks sound. Any ideas?

I will have to do a little digging to find the code for the letters....But I am pretty certin the bow is around 1950-1955...If you are planing on stringing it with that draw weight.Being lemonwood,I would make sure and rub the limbs with your hand a little before stringing.Kinda warm it up.Then draw it about 10-12 inches 10-15 times then 20 inches a few times.I will try and find the code for the letters later today....bowdoc

RGK,

I don`t know anything about this bow, except one of my older brothers had one identical to yours. I remember every detail as if it was just yesterday. I was just a kid and couldn`t pull it back no matter how I tried. Thanks for the memories! saddlesmith
