i would appreciate any help regarding the brace height on a 53lb.@28" jack howard gamemaster jet. thankyou.

McK

6 3/4" measured from highest point on belly of riser, right below the heel of your hand.  Works out to about 8 1/4" measurd the more traditional way.  Jack did things his way.

kyudo

thanks. i knew it was a somewhat different way, but all i could find to reference was his bowhunter's catalog; can't seen to find the jet brochure. as you mentioned, jack did do things his own way. thanks again.

McK

Your welcome, I have a 64# Jet that I really like.  Talked to Jack a few times on the phone, really liked him too.

IF you use a standard JACK HOWARD 66" string, you will not have to worry about brace height.  IT will automatically be correct.  IF you need a new string, they are available from Charlie Lamb.  Charlie can also supply the Jack Howard Feather rest.

I vnever measured my brace height but 6-3/4 sounds about right.  Jack's bows have about the lowest fistmele that I have seen on any bow.

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.

kyudo

thankyou very much yet again, jack.
