Hello there!

I just fou d this thread when searching for my great Uncles bows. My Uncle Lovell Tice designed bows with Bill Watts and my family still has many of his bows Including one prototype.

I got out-sniped on a really pretty early T&W Spartan Hunter a few weeks ago on the auction site. It had the 'Archery Engineering' decal, in use before they switched to calling the company Tice & Watts. It was a lefty with what appeared to be bubinga riser and bright green glass. I shoot lefty sometimes but didn't want a lefty hunting bow badly enough to bring it home.

It's great to hear from family members of innovative bowyers who we know so little about.

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.
