I have a walnut longbow or selfbow that I came across.  It is about 67" and has walnut tips glued on.  It has a leather wrap grip and is made from walnut with the dark wood composing most of the bow, but the lighter colored wood is facing out.  It is a very nice bow that has only one mark.  It has a 30 stamped into the bow just below the handle, which I presume means 30#.  Above the handle is a leather strip glued to face of the bow.  It has little pin holes in the side that makes me think it was used for a primitive sight.  I don't have a clue about the value or the origin.  If anybody can help me, I'd love to hear from you.  I can send pictures if that will help you.  I plan to sell it, but I don't know what a fair price will be and I'd love to know a bit more about it before it goes.  I'm the curious type.
