Few things are crystal clear in my mind; but to attempt to do some things that are honorable, or at least decent, seems to make some sense. A more traditional lifestyle fits...trad gang fits!

BTW-  I have several of each type of arrow.  Just have not seen or heard of them before.

Item !  Bear Magnum (alum) arrow- 8.6mm made bu easton

For a certain period Bear marked the Magnum arrows in milimeter instead of the standard 1/1000 " that we know as the standard for easton.  If I remember correctly 8.6mm would have be equilevent to about a 2117 (?) I think. They were made by Easton and were just as good shafts as any others  that Easton made.  I found the metric a bit confusing so I just stuck with Easton shafts.

That was just about the time that the plan was to move the US to the Metric system, which never really took off.

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.

I have about 3 dozen of the 8.6 metric magnums and a bunch of 2117's.  I've shot them both, and it could be in my head, but I believe that the 8.6 is a heavier and stiffer arrow than the 2117.  It seems to have more drop and less speed.  Like I say, it could be just in my head . . .
