I just got some new arrows last week, bare shafted them to "close" and not quite and tuned as I usually do, but i went with it anyway.  I shot a tourney this weekend and the arrows, for the most part, hit center, but I did notice some waving "good bye" when they left.  

I know when an arrow hits weak, most strike plate out, when the arrow hits stiff, add point weight, etc.  

But never had any that waved good bye and hit dead center when I know it was a good release..

Sounds like you are getting a little "bounce" somewhere.  Check you clearances with powder or something.  Just a guess.

If you want to experiment, raise the nock point 1/8" and see what that does to the bounce.  If it reduces, but doesn't eliminate the bounce, try raising the brace height 1/8".  You can try raising them even higher, if you want to, but if you were close that might be enough.

I believe I found out the problem. I have been working on my form lately and It wasn't doing it today, so I did a little experimenting.
I was short drawing some but with a good release it still managed to hit its spot, just a little wave. When I drew all the way back, it would fly true. I believe all the short draws were bc I didn't fully extend and use my back muscles.

My next question would be, should I try to lighten the spine a little by adding a softer rest or adding point weight to plan for a short draw and make a more forgiving short draw or just leave it where it is?

I try to keep my arrows tuned for as perfect a shot as I am capable of making. I don't want to give my bad shots any encouragement.

i understand that! lol.  I was just thinking my hunting draw(fully clothed) would be more inclined to a short draw than my 3d draw.
