Shooting split. Shooting OK. Every now and then my bottom finger doesn't get out of the string's path , resulting in a funky release. Thoughts?

The ring finger is just along for the ride.  Only about 10% of the overall pressure of the string should be on the ring finger PAD (string not into the joint).  Try 50% pressure on the middle finger -string in the joint, 40% index finger - string in the joint and 10% on the PAD of the ring finger.

Arne
Is the pressure distributed the same shooting 3 under.

YES!!!  Split or three under is JUST an accommodation for aiming, there should be NO difference in execution.

I am taking the ring finger out of the equation and shooting 2 finger split (Flemish release)...I used to shoot a lot 2 under but I find the split version a bit quieter

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

It might take me a while to get to that point with a deep hook Arne, but I could see some improvement over the weekend. Thank you
