Hello out there - Working on shooting form?

Something to think about if you're shooting very close to a target, with your eyes closed. If you miss the target...have a backstop around your target (instead of just concrete block) that will keep the arrows from bouncing straight back and hitting your face. Maybe practice with someone watching from the side, to warn you if your arrow came off the shelf...

I'm thanking the trout gods right now for just a "close call". Yikes! I've enough holes in my head already.    :(

Oooo, good idea! Thanks for posting this. It's just something that would happen to me. I think I may be the most accident prone individual ever born. I was thinking of doing this type of working on my form, since I just read about it on this site, yesterday.

Thanks for the headsup. :-)

Never ask a man where he's from. If he's from Texas, he'll tell you. If not, don't embarrass him. ;-)

You're welcome, Deelyte! When it happens, it happens right quick; just a blink of the eye. Up until a few weeks ago, I've never seen an arrow move exactly backwards so fast and true.

Now, if I could just get them to do that in the forward direction...
